Most English-speaking families in Montreal are dealing with the same thing in some form. Either your child is in an English school and still has to pass the provincial French exams, or your child is in French school and comes home to English, which turns homework into the hardest hour of the day.
Both are normal here, and neither is a problem the school will solve for you. What helps is a tutor who works in the language of instruction and can explain to you, in English, what the school is actually asking for.
That is what these pages are about: which schools are in your sector, what they select on, and where students in that sector usually get stuck.
