The first report card: read it, talk about it, act on it
In Quebec, the school year has three report cards: the first is worth 20% of the final result, the second 20% and the last 60%. A disappointing mark in November is not a verdict. It is a signal that comes early enough to change what follows.
Our guide explains how to read the report card, what to ask the teacher at the parent meeting, and when a tutor's help is really worth it.
